There are many different ways to make a planned
gift. While we are pleased to provide you with a general outline of
gift planning options, we strongly recommend that donors who are
considering a planned gift review their situation with their lawyer,
accountant, financial planner or other professional advisor.
Charitable Gift Annuities
A charitable gift annuity is an arrangement whereby the donor
transfers a sum of money to a charity in exchange for fixed income
payments guaranteed for the donor lifetime or for a pre-determined
number of years. This method of donating is highly tax effective.
A charitable tax receipt is issued for a portion of the donation
and the donor receives the income payments tax free.
